America and the Bill of Rights - or A Lawyers Right to Bill?
In the United States we have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights, but make no mistake this nation was built for the People and by the People, not by the lawyers and only for the lawyers. It seems in our great Republic a travesty has occurred in which the lawyers have mistakenly come to the conclusion that the Bill of Rights by definition is about a Lawyers Right to Bill.
Indeed, we can all agree that this nation is becoming rather burdensome with all the over-lawyering and that it is getting to the point that common sense and our Nation's laws are diametrically opposed; How can this be? How is it that at this point in our country's history we have become a population, which would rather sue than produce or work? Certainly, we are a stronger people than that.
Look here is the problem; our government's judicial branch is filled with lawyers and that of course makes sense, but also our legislative branch is too, that sometimes makes sense but there is no common sense involved. If our Executive Branch is filled with lawyers and you know how lawyers are in a committee, then how can we expect anything to get done for the people? We can't and that is why nothing happens so often. Sometimes that is a good thing, since government is often inept or dishonest in someway - let's call it borderline ethics, as to not offend or get sued for writing this article.
Is our nation, no longer by the people and for the people, but rather by the lawyers and for the lawyers. I'll step back for a moment, while you step out of the box and think on it. And another thing why should the tax payer foot the bill?
